Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to inspire and nurture young learners during their formative years. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and independence among children.
• Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and discipline.
• Conduct child development assessments to tailor instruction and support individual learning needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and collaborate on supporting each child's growth.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child welfare incidents or concerns.
• Incorporate best practices in childhood development instruction and classroom management to foster a safe and inclusive space for all children.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; classroom experience is highly valued.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing relevant to early childhood education.
• Familiarity with special education techniques, early intervention strategies, and behavior management methods.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or early childhood education are preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
• Demonstrated understanding of child welfare laws and mandated reporting requirements.
• Experience teaching physical education or literacy education is a plus; familiarity with classroom management tools is advantageous.
