Duties
- Build on and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support child welfare.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Provide early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with families regarding their child's development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool or educational setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques and special education practices is a plus.
- Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of child welfare policies and early intervention strategies is beneficial.
- Strong skills in lesson planning that caters to diverse learning styles and developmental stages.
