We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Nursery Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students, developing lesson plans, and providing instruction in basic academic, social, and emotional skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think on their feet.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a curriculum that is appropriate for the age group of the students.
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
- Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress.
- Observe and evaluate each child's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
- Encourage children to interact with each other in positive ways.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare.
- Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for teaching and caregiving.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or related fields are a plus.
