Little Endeavors Child Development Center in Ankeny, IA, is seeking a PM Childcare On-site Supervisor to join our team and help us create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for our little ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support our team of childcare providers during the afternoon shift
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care
- Develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on their child's day
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare facility
- Lead by example and provide a positive and supportive work environment
- Support the director and staff in completing daily cleaning and closing responsibilities to ensure the center is organized, compliant, and ready for a smooth opening the following day
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old and meet the state licensing qualifications for an OSS
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for working with young children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
