What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afternoon Assistant Teacher position at Little Endeavors Child Development Center?
TEACHING
- Assist in planning and implementing age appropriate curriculum.
- General everyday cleanup after activities and snack and complete cleanup check list at the end of the night.
- Treat children with compassion, dignity and respect.
- Communicate in a professional manner with parent, staff and management.
- Establish a positive image as a role model for our children and families.
- Responsible for a nightly chore around the center and help on assigned laundry day.
- Dress in a professional service manner.
- Follows all Little Endeavors policies.
- Respects the policy of the children and families confidentiality.
- Communicate with lead teacher of any issues that come up in the afternoon and waits for the lead teacher or help from the director before addressing parents.
