Specifically, we are looking for workers over the age of 18 for our closing shifts (4pm - 10pm weeknights). We recognize those who excel in their roles, and we offer numerous opportunities for advancement as the company expands.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage transactions and ensure accurate pricing
- Accept payments and provide receipts
- Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge
- Interact with customers in a friendly manner
Key Responsibilities of a Cashier
- Greet customers upon entry and exit
- Balance the cash register
- Scan goods and verify pricing and quantities
- Process returns, refunds, and resolve customer complaints
- Bag and wrap purchased goods for safe transport
- Upsell and cross-sell when appropriate
Job Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong math skills
- Ability to effectively resolve complaints
- Effective communication in English; Spanish fluency is a plus!
