What You’ll Do:
As a Cashier at Zaxby’s, your main responsibility is to create an unforgettable experience for every guest by providing friendly, efficient service. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Provide Exceptional Service: Greet guests with a smile, take orders, and provide prompt, enthusiastic service.
- Handle Transactions: Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments (cash, credit, etc.).
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dining room, counters, and bathrooms clean and organized at all times.
- Promote Our Menu: Share current promotions and recommend menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Teamwork: Work with fellow team members to ensure a smooth, efficient operation.
- Follow Procedures: Maintain Zaxby’s standards for food safety, cleanliness, and guest service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older.
- Availability: Ability to work a minimum of 9 hours per week. Availability for both opening and closing shifts is a plus!
- Positive Attitude: A friendly, guest-focused approach is key. You’ll be the first face our guests see, so we want you to make a great impression!
- Team Player: You’ll be working with others, so we’re looking for someone who works well in a team and is always ready to help out.
- Physical Requirements: You should be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to use hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to temperature variations and food allergens.
- Safely operate restaurant equipment.
