Our childcare center is seeking a dedicated, experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our toddler classroom with confidence, warmth, and professionalism. The ideal candidate understands toddler development, communicates effectively with families, and creates a safe, engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom routines and developmentally appropriate activities
- Support social‐emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families about progress and needs
- Ensure compliance with licensing and center policies
- Mentor assistant teachers and model best practices
Qualifications
- Experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Ability to plan and implement engaging toddler curriculum
- Excellent communication and classroom‐management skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
