Well-established New Jersey law firm seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with 3–7 years of experience to join our new family practice. The ideal candidate will be confident managing their own caseload, comfortable appearing in court, and skilled at guiding clients through emotionally charged situations with empathy and precision.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of family law cases from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
- Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings, mediations, and trials
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver excellent client service
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in New Jersey and in good standing
- 3–7 years of experience in family law required
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
- Compassionate, professional, and client-focused demeanor
