Job Description

Floor / Carpet Technician

Schedule - Part time, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Floor / Carpet Technician. As a member of the housekeeping department, you are responsible for the daily cleaning of floors and other periodic cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning of hard surface floors and carpeted floors in corridors and in other assigned areas following an established schedule and using prescribed methods as outline on work schedule
• Removes trash, recycling and other items from areas and transport it to the correct location
• Assists in the cleaning of emergency spills that are observed or requested.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Learn and apply new skills and techniques related to flooring and carpet installation
  
  

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
