Pay: $18/hr on W2
Shift: 8.00 AM-5.00 PM
Days: M-F
Summary
The Logistics Claims Senior Specialist is vital in managing and resolving product-related claims, such as overages, shortages, damages, and refusals reported by carriers at the time of delivery. With the Logistics Teams processing an impressive, annualized total of $100 million in our Poultry Prepared Division, the need for accurate and timely evaluations and disposition decisions cannot be overstated.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Candidate with and/or currently pursuing a BA degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of office clerical experience required, 3 years preferred.
- Prior experience in a Logistics is highly valuable, particularly in handling OS&D claims or customer service.
- Experience in data collection and analysis is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Professional phone skills for interacting with both internal company contacts and external vendors and customers.
- Excellent negotiation skills to effectively manage and resolve third-party OS&D carrier claims.
- Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
- Skilled in managing conflict and addressing concerns diplomatically.
- Proficient in crafting detailed and accurate reports and documentation.
- Effective follow-up skills to ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues with various parties involved.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with High Radius system.
- Proficiency in navigating and interpreting Power BI reports.
- Experience with SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM); TES (Transportation Execution System); and DB2 Sessions.
- Experience working with call center technology and answering systems, including software such as Five9.
- Motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow.
