Job Summary
The Commercial Relationship Manager is responsible for building and managing long-term relationships with commercial clients while delivering customized financial solutions. This role blends strategic client engagement, consultative selling, and strong financial expertise to drive portfolio growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, grow, and manage a portfolio of commercial clients through proactive relationship management
Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring high-quality client service and timely responsiveness
Identify client financial needs and recommend tailored solutions, including loans, deposits, and treasury services
Collaborate with internal teams (credit, underwriting, operations) to structure and close deals efficiently
Monitor portfolio performance, assess credit risk, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Generate new business through networking, referrals, and targeted market activities
Maintain accurate CRM records and adhere to all regulatory standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or commercial lending
Strong credit analysis, negotiation, and financial acumen
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with CRM and financial systems
