What are the responsibilities and job description for the [WorkStudy] Athletic Aide position at Linn-Benton Community College?
This position performs a variety of administrative office duties.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better (some positions may require a higher GPA), and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to work outdoors execute routine tasks related to facility and event set up and take down.
- Background and knowledge of sports and sporting events is desirable
Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate with faculty, staff and students, work well independently and with others.
- Ability to interact sensitively and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Background and knowledge of sports and sporting events is desirable.
- Must be able to operate a computer and/or other office equipment.
- Must be able to work outdoors execute routine tasks related to facility and event set up and take down.
Provides assistance to the Athletic Department operations in a variety of capacities, including: game management support; facilities monitoring and cleaning, including the gymnasium, fitness center, aerobics room; general office clerical work; special event support; support for promotions; marketing and communications activities; other duties as needed and assigned.
