Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&I Line Trial Support Technician to join our dynamic research and development team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the execution of research trials, ensuring adherence to laboratory standards, and maintaining high-quality data collection. Responsibilities:
- Attend line trials and first productions on the production floor.
- Read the production schedule e-mail to determine when and where to attend.
- When on the production floor, document settings such as bulk temperature, filling speeds, filling volumes, etc. Take photos of pieces, take photos of and document in writing any issues that arise.
- When the line trials/production is over, use the data collected and the pictures taken to write a summary report of what happened.
- Wear personal protective equipment as required.
Skills
- Strong understanding of GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and laboratory compliance standards.
- Proficiency in animal physiology, microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and related research techniques.
- Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data collection methods.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, sterile techniques, and chemical handling safety procedures.
- Ability to perform analysis using scientific research methods with excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and clinical laboratory procedures is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience working in an industrial or research laboratory setting with adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Strong organizational skills combined with technical proficiency in laboratory techniques such as tissue processing or molecular assays.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration within multidisciplinary teams involved in research & development projects.
