Maintenance Technician
Shift: 1st Shift (Day Shift)
What You’ll Do:
-
Perform repair and maintenance on building infrastructure, presses, and equipment throughout the plant

Adjust, repair, or replace motors, controls, and other electrical equipment
-
Support team goals within assembly and press departments
-
Participate in press set-ups, promote teamwork, and drive continuous improvement to reduce press setup time
-
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and electrical safe work practices
-
Complete all preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, corrective actions, and improvements on assigned equipment
-
Maintain accurate documentation per maintenance systems, including downtime records and work orders
-
Serve as wastewater handler after completing required training
-
Promote and apply lean manufacturing principles
-
Actively participate in Elimination of Waste Team meetings

Support overall company goals and objectives
-
Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
-
Strong knowledge of stamping presses, conveyors, CNC machines, washers, assembly machines, automation equipment

Understanding of pneumatics, lubrication, and hydraulic circuits
-
Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and diagrams
-
Experience with MIG and/or arc welding and use of cutting torches

Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication schematics
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 compliance standards
Education:
-
Preferred: High school diploma or higher
-
Technical or other relevant training is a plus
Experience:
-
Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or related maintenance roles
