Die Setter / Mold Change Technician
Hourly Rate: (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Some weekends may be required; overtime possible but not guaranteed

Key Responsibilities:

Set up molds efficiently, safely, and in a time-effective manner

Identify deficiencies or problems with tasks and equipment and report to production shift supervisor

Ensure molds are set according to industry standards so that the first shift meets quality standards

Perform timely mold changes and communicate manufacturing requirements across shifts

Receive job line-up of scheduled mold changes, including molds, workstations, and auxiliary equipment

Maintain continuous housekeeping during mold setup and removal to ensure a clean work environment

Properly clean and store tools and equipment; report any damage or repair needs

Promote safe operation during each assigned mold change and ensure safety of all coworkers involved
Physical Requirements:

Frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use hands for fine manipulation

Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
-
Required vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
