Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our team.The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision sheet metal components, performing high-quality welds, and reading and interpreting blueprints to meet exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal components according to blueprints and job specifications.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and conformance to standards.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of MIG and TIG welding experience, preferably in a sheet metal environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
