Position Overview: We are currently seeking OTR / Linehaul Class A Tractor Trailer Drivers to join our team. The Class A Driver will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to customers and terminals in AZ, TX and potentially anywhere in between. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Safely transporting loads to and from specified locations using a commercial vehicle (tractor-trailer).
- Making deliveries and pickups of touch freight with manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and liftgates while maintaining communication with dispatchers.
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to state and federal regulations and company policy.
- Read and comprehend Bill of Ladings, Delivery Receipts, and utilize company dispatch software on a tablet.
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and clients as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year of recent verifiable commercial driving experience (2-years preferred).
- At least 22 years of age.
- Valid CDL Class A Driver License with a clean DMV record.
- Ability to successfully pass drug/physical and background screening.
- Physical capabilities to perform the duties of the job, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and manipulating large and heavy items.
- 2 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- No major violations in the last 3 years... ask a recruiter for details.
No drug or alcohol offenses in last 5 years
