We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class A Driver specializing in freight transportation to join our team. Duties
- Operate tractor-trailers, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Drive various types of freight vehicles
- Load and unload freight accurately using appropriate equipment
- Safely secure cargo
- Follow designated routes for delivery and pickup, ensuring timely arrivals at multiple destinations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, freight movements, and delivery documentation for compliance purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid Class A CDL license.
- Demonstrated proficiency in driving manual transmission trucks and operating various freight vehicles including tractor-trailers
- Prior delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and load & unload procedures.
- Familiarity with freight handling equipment
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance.
