What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker position at Linden Airport Management Corporation?
Linden Airport is currently searching for a seasonal grounds keeper/property maintenance
Responsibilities include:
- Operate tractors, ride-on mowers, and weed whackers to maintain the grounds.
- Perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Conduct weed control, including some spraying as needed.
- Assist with general property maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Work as part of a team to keep the property in top condition throughout the spring and summer season.
Qualified candidates will:
- Be 18
- Experience using large mower decks, tractors, ride on mowers, weedwhackers, etc.
- Experience with heavy machinery
- Available for a full time schedule (~40 hrs per week)
- Have a valid drivers license
- Be able to pass and secure any background checks/drug tests required by the governing bodies. ( F.A.A, D.O.T, ETC.)
- Be able to obtain an airport security badge
- Preferably have experience working on an airport or in aviation.
