What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lineman / Aircraft Fueler position at Linden Airport Management Corporation?
Linden Airport is currently searching for an airport lineman / aircraft fueler.
An Airport lineman is a customer service position, that's responsible for supporting all ground operations for inbound and outbound aircraft, flight crews, and passengers.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely fuel aircraft in accordance to the specifications and fuel quality control standards.
- Maintain accurate fuel quantity records.
- Monitor the radio and answer any requests.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Follow detailed oral and written instructions.
- Accurately record sales and customer invoices in the point of sale system.
- Monitor arriving and departing aircraft.
- Maintain general security of the property.
- Perform manual labor when required.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to perform any/all duties assigned.
Qualified candidates will:
- Be 18
- Available for a full time schedule (40 hrs per week)
- Have a valid drivers license
- Be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Be able to pass and secure any background checks/drug tests required by the governing bodies. ( F.A.A, D.O.T, ETC.)
- Preferably have experience working on an airport or in aviation.
