ensuring adherence to safety and compliance programs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
- Accountable for managing the day-to-day operations including employee scheduling, product management, maintenance and productivity while promoting safety.
- Implement and comply to policies, procedures and senior management's direction related to the business plan.
- Assignments are defined in terms of activities or objectives, and work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.
- Provide leadership to their team, mentor, and support development of the employees.
- Anticipates problems and assists with developing contingencies.
- Problem solver in fast paced business.
- Regularly interacts with subordinates and middle management.
- High School Diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Candidate should possess strong working knowledge, literacy and demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience managing and leading a team.
- A minimum of 5 years of successfully leading Operations in similar industry.
- Travel: 30-50%
