Commissioning Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*
- You will be developing basic design, detailed engineering and procurement related activities of Rotating Equipment/packages such as pumps, compressors, blowers, and refrigeration units
- Developing rotating equipment specifications and commissioning guidelines for the equipment is part of this role, as well to provide rotating equipment information throughout the various proposal, engineering and construction phases to the project team
- Further, you will provide the technical expertise to assist in achieving accuracy in project piping and instrumentation drawings (P&ID’s)
- Within the latitude permitted by his position, preventing the overrunning of rotating equipment budgets, both in manpower terms and purchased equipment costs on assigned projects is part of your tasks
- Issuing requests for quotations, purchase specifications, bid evaluations, and purchase requisitions is required
- You will be participating in equipment check-out and commissioning as required
- You have a BS in engineering, BSME or BSChE preferred and professional engineering registration preferred
- Minimum three (3) years experience in a process oriented, E / C Company or in an operating company with project equipment engineering duties is required
- Moreover, you have working knowledge of International Codes and Standards and effective computer skills like Microsoft Office software, Lotus Notes and other Company and discipline specific software applications
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company round up your profile
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to formulate and communicate sound recommendations are required
