Human Resource Representative will also assist the Human Resources Manager with daily Human Resources support for new hire orientation, organizational development, training, health and safety, processing WCC, STD/LTD claims and employee relations.

Responsibility
- Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in the facility’s geographic location and:
- The Global Operating System Plays;
- OHSAS 18001:2007 Health and Safety management system standard;
- ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management system standard;
- TS 16949 Technical Specification Management and Linamar Quality Basics system standards.
- Support, Foster, Promote and Demonstrate Linamar’s Core Values and Leadership Behaviors.
- Maintain balance between customer, employee and financial satisfaction by maximizing facility/department Performance Indicators to align to Linamar’s Stepping Stool of Success Strategy.
- Support and maintain department lean initiatives as set out in LPS system requirements.
- Maintain department 5S requirements.
- Recruiting, screening applicants and scheduling interviews
- Prepare offer letters and extend offers.
- Maintain Training Matrix and coordinate required training
- Create and maintain job descriptions
- Prepares and posts all internal and inter-company job postings
- Assists with new hire orientation
- Benefits administration
- Assists in annual open enrollment
- InfoHR administration
- Process workers comp and STD/LTD claims
- Other HR related duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related fields preferable
- Essential Skills
- Reading: 5
- Document Use: 3
- Numeracy: 3
- Two to three years HR experience preferred
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment is an asset
- Strong leadership skills, strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiar with labor law practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
