Are you a strategic financial leader ready to make a real impact? Due to an upcoming retirement, LigTel Communications is seeking an experienced Controller to own our financial operations and drive company growth. This isn't just about closing the books—it's about being a key voice at the leadership table.

What You'll Own

Strategic Leadership

· Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy, capital investments, and long-term planning

· Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics that drive business decisions

· Provide financial analysis for pricing, capital projects, and operational performance

Financial Operations

· Direct all accounting functions: AP, AR, general ledger, payroll, and billing

· Produce timely financial statements and management reports

· Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment portfolio

· Implement operational efficiencies and best practices

Compliance & Team Leadership

· Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate external audits

· Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team

· Oversee accounting, HR, and customer service functions

· Design and monitor internal control systems

What You Bring

Required:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent experience

· Minimum 3-5 years of progressive financial management experience

· Strong analytical skills and executive-level communication abilities

· Leadership presence and ability to influence strategic decisions

Preferred:

· Telecommunications industry experience

· Part 32 accounting knowledge

· Familiarity with NISC software
