What We Are Looking For
The Preconstruction Assistant works both independently and collaboratively with all aspects of the preconstruction teams to support the objectives of the department and of Lighthouse Electric.
- Prepare and distribute weekly departmental summaries highlighting key updates, decisions, and priorities.
- Manage the SOP calendar, coordinating reviews, updates, and new process rollouts with subject matter experts.
- Develop and publish departmental communications and content (e.g., biweekly updates, one-pagers, visuals, LinkedIn contributions).
- Oversee departmental knowledge management, including document libraries, roadmaps, visuals, process maps, and version control.
- Capture and document outputs and lessons learned, including fabrication short stories and model vs. installed comparisons.
- Coordinate departmental meetings by preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking action items to completion.
- Provide administrative and coordination support (scheduling, travel, data analysis, and project-related assistance).
- Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen communication across Preconstruction teams.
- Exceptional customer service (internal and external)
- Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Excellent time management skills
- Work both independently and collaboratively
- Accept direction and assignments from multiple sources, effectively prioritizing and meeting deadlines
- Be flexible with changing demands
- Technical and creative writing experience, preferred

Salary : $40,000 - $60,000
