What We Are Looking For
Development Manager supports team and company goals by leading a group of Developers in building and adopting technology solutions that improve business operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of Developers, fostering professional growth, cross-training, and collaboration.
- Partner with Solutions Architects to align development efforts with strategic technology goals.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and delivery quality across development initiatives.
- Support adoption of new tools and workflows by coaching developers and promoting best practices.
- Identify and remove blockers to team productivity, including technical, process, or communication challenges.
- Encourage innovation by proposing practical, scalable solutions to business problems.
- Evaluate and improve development workflows, standards, and team processes.
- Track team performance and progress using dashboards, reports, and metrics.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their relevance to team and business needs.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on mentoring and professional development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to support cross-functional alignment and drive adoption.
- Proven experience managing development teams and delivering technology projects.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Familiarity with development tools and languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, C#).
- Experience with BI and analytics platforms (preferred).
- Construction or field operations experience (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable evaluating workflows and guiding teams through change.
