This is a full-time, on-site role for the Center Director at Lightbridge Academy located in Jessup, MD. The Center Director will oversee daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare and educational services in line with the organization's mission and values. Responsibilities include managing and supporting staff, maintaining compliance with state and local regulations, fostering relationships with families, and driving enrollment growth. The Center Director will also be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, overseeing curriculum implementation, and providing a safe and welcoming environment for children, parents, and employees.
- Leadership and team management skills to support, mentor, and supervise staff effectively
- Operational management expertise, including compliance with state and local childcare regulations and maintaining health and safety standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with families, staff, and the community
- Experience in curriculum implementation and fostering high-quality educational programs
- Enrollment management and marketing experience to support growth and maintain program excellence
- Proficiency with childcare technology tools, including parent communication platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience preferred)
