Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Teacher Assistant role based in Somerset, NJ. The Teacher Assistant will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. Daily responsibilities include assisting with classroom activities, helping children with tasks, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and fostering positive interactions. Candidates will also collaborate with families and staff to ensure the well-being and development of the children.

Qualifications

• Assistant Teaching and Education skills, with experience supporting classroom learning and implementing educational activities
• Strong Communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and staff.
• Demonstrated passion for Working With Children and fostering their growth and development in a nurturing environment
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized classroom setting
• High school diploma or equivalent; ongoing or completed coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus
• Experience in childcare or early education settings is an advantage
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
