- Safely install solar panels, mounting systems, inverters, and electrical components on rooftops or ground-mounted sites using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately assemble and position solar equipment.
- Connect electrical wiring for high voltage and low voltage systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols.
- Conduct fixture installation, roofing work, plumbing connections, and electrical wiring to ensure system integrity.
- Operate construction site machinery such as forklifts to transport heavy materials safely around the worksite.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete installation tasks with precision.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot electrical issues, read schematics, and ensure all work complies with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Assist with site inspections, quality checks, and system testing before project completion.
- Prior experience as a commercial electrician or in electrical construction is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage electrical systems.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and NEC regulations related to solar installations.
- Hands-on experience with roofing techniques, fixture installation, plumbing connections, and working on construction sites.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in various outdoor environments.
- Construction site experience including working at heights on rooftops or ground-mounted systems.
