- The Facilities Specialist Lead at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance and operations of the organization's facilities. This role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, and meet the needs of staff and clients, while adhering to regulatory standards and optimizing resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the facilities team in daily operations and maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee repair, maintenance, and renovation projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility services, including cleaning, security, and landscaping.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address issues proactively.
- Prepare and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and enhance the functionality of facilities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility operations and maintenance activities.
- Provide training and development opportunities for facilities staff to enhance skills and performance.
- Ensure emergency preparedness and response plans are in place and effectively communicated to staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree in facility management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proven track record of managing multiple facilities and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure optimal operation and maintenance.
- Experience in a behavioral health or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
