Description Trails of Orono, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Community Life Assistant to join our growing team. Shifts Available: Full Time (.8) Schedule will be as follows: Mon-Fri, 7 hr. shifts (10a-5p or 11a-6p) and every other weekend (Sat & Sun) 10a-2p or 10a-3p Wage: $17.50-$22.50/HR (DOE) Are you compassionate towards others? Our Community Life Assistants become family and impact the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible to assist the Community Life Department Supervisor in the development, organization, coordination and implementation of comprehensive community life and wellness services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each tenant. Duties include: Facilitate both large and small group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner. Promote and integrate the wellness dimensions into the community life programs. Communicate programs and develop positive relations with residents, family, and volunteers. Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience working in Assisted Living and Memory Care is preferred. Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees. Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
