Overnight Caregiver & Operations Support Specialist (Full-Time)

Location: Elk Ridge, UT (on-site at the family's residence, with dedicated office space available)

Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Overnight Caregiver & Operations Support Specialist to provide essential overnight and morning care for two young men with muscular dystrophy, while also contributing valuable support to the Operations Team at LifeSeasons (a health and wellness company).

This full-time role combines hands-on, meaningful caregiving with flexible administrative and operational tasks—primarily during periods of downtime throughout the night. The position includes full benefits, a competitive salary, significant personal downtime during shifts (while remaining on-call and available for care needs), and the chance to make a real difference in both personal care and business operations.

Primary Responsibilities – Caregiving (Core Focus):

• Assist with evening and bedtime routines: administering medications, personal hygiene, Hoyer lift transfers, toileting, muscle massage, and positioning for sleep.
• Monitor and respond to comfort or care needs throughout the night, including repositioning as needed and handling any rare/unexpected hygiene or support situations.
• Support morning routines upon waking: assisting with getting up, toileting, showering, dressing, morning medications, and preparing a simple breakfast.

Secondary Responsibilities – Operations & Administrative Support (Flexible/Downtime Tasks):

• Handle miscellaneous projects or tasks as assigned to support LifeSeasons' office locations and operations team needs.

**Bonus – Highly Valued Skillset: Candidates with proven Shopify development experience are especially encouraged to apply. Compensation is negotiable and can be significantly higher for the right candidate with strong, relevant Shopify skills to contribute directly to e-commerce operations.

Qualifications:

• Prior caregiving experience preferred (especially with mobility assistance, Hoyer lifts, or muscular dystrophy/ similar conditions), but comprehensive training will be provided for the right person.
• Physically able to perform required tasks, including lifting, transferring, reaching, and safely operating a Hoyer lift.
• Essential traits: High level of patience, compassion, proactive problem-solving, reliability, and a calm demeanor under varying circumstances.
• CNA certification, familiarity with assistive devices, or experience in healthcare/support roles is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours with significant downtime.
• Bonus: Hands-on Shopify development experience (as noted above).

Shift Schedule:

• Weeknights (Mon–Thurs): 9:30 PM – 8:00 AM the following morning (e.g., Monday shift ends Tuesday morning).
• One weekend night: Either Friday or Saturday, 10:30 PM – 9:00 AM the following morning (flexible/alternating based on mutual agreement).
• Location note: Fully on-site at the family's residence; includes access to a private office space for administrative tasks during downtime.
• Downtime: Shifts include substantial personal time for rest, reading, or quiet activities, provided you remain immediately available for any care needs.
