Job Title: Accountant and Financial Analyst (Hybrid Role)

Job Summary:

The Accountant & Financial Analyst is a hybrid role supporting core accounting functions alongside financial planning and analysis. Ideal for a high-performing finance professional, this position offers exposure to full-cycle accounting while contributing to forecasting, financial modeling, and insightful analysis.

You’ll play a key role in month-end close processes, ensuring financial accuracy and delivering actionable insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency for key stakeholders.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with the month-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries and accruals
• Assist with inventory and cost tracking
• Reconciles and files sales tax returns. 
• Assist in the preparation of financial reporting and variance analysis with key stakeholders
• Support annual budgets and quarterly forecast updates
• Partner with Operations (Technology, Warehouse, Marketing) to monitor performance
• Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
• Analyze gross margin by SKU and Channel

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 
• 3-5 Years of accounting/finance experience
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in face paced environment

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with ERP systems (Sage, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Experience with intercompany accounting.
• Experience in consumer goods or manufacturing, and understanding of sales tax
• Experience with BI Tools (Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, etc.)
