Lifepoint Church is a life-giving church founded in Wilmington, NC in 2006 by Founding & Lead Pastor Jeff Kapusta. Today, Lifepoint is one church in multiple locations across the greater Wilmington area, reaching thousands of people each week and helping people experience life change in Jesus. From the beginning, Lifepoint has been committed to serving its communities, reaching people far from God, and helping people become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

Position Overview

A Campus Pastor at Lifepoint Church provides both pastoral leadership and organizational stewardship for a local campus. The CP shepherds people, carries Lifepoint culture, develops leaders, communicates vision, and takes ownership of the overall health and growth of the campus.

At Lifepoint, we believe the local church is most effective when it’s local. Our strategy is to build healthy local expressions of Lifepoint Church that reach communities throughout greater Wilmington and coastal North Carolina while remaining one church with one mission, vision, and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Lifepoint’s mission, values, vision, and ministry execution on the local level.
• Assess key campus needs, formulate strategies, and execute effectively within the framework and vision of Lifepoint Church
• Develop and sustain a leadership pipeline, including the identification, recruitment, training, and development of leaders
• Foster Serve Team health through recruitment, training, retention, appreciation, and culture-building
• Lead Campus Staff, including development, performance reviews, disciplinary processes, potential recruitment, selection, and overall team health and synergy
• Cultivate healthy connection, alignment, and one-team culture between Campus and Central Teams
• Oversee and participate in campus services and activities; serving as the primary host & live pastoral presence on platform at the campus.
• Create, steward, and protect a healthy and thriving campus culture
• Manage and oversee the campus budget and expenses in partnership with central systems

Key Qualifications

• 3–5 years of pastoral experience, with demonstrated ability to lead a congregation/campus and develop staff and volunteers.
• Relational intelligence and a shepherd’s heart — able to cultivate deep care for individuals while also leading teams and managing organizational responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and administrative skills, including the ability to manage a staff team, oversee a facility and budget, and coordinate campus-wide ministry planning.
• Strong communication and platform ability.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Vibrant personal faith and thorough, personal knowledge of God’s Word.
