Annual Stipend: $48,330.00 - Tax Free!!!
Client Description:
Individual is a woman in her early 40's who is kind and respectful. She has a job, attends day program and in her free time, she enjoys watching TV, playing and exploring on her phone and IPad, listening to music, and doing Arts and Crafts. She enjoys going shopping, playing basketball and taking long rides in the car. She enjoys helping others. Would love to live in a home with children and cats (not dogs). She wants to stay living in the Pembroke Area!
What’s involved?
As a Shared Living Home Care Provider, you will provide a safe and comfortable home for an adult with a developmental disability to live their best life, support them with tasks such as but not limited to, meal preparation, medication administration, transportation to and from medical appointments, socialization, participation in the community and other daily living tasks and activities.
Can I Still Have a Day Job?
Yes, and many people do as most individuals we serve receive staffed day support out in the community with outside staff (Monday through Friday).
What if I Need a Break?
Home Care Providers will have access to respite support, so you can go still to that wedding… take a weekend off or just go visit your family, with adequate notice when possible.
Do I Get Training & Support?
LifeConnections provides extensive training and on-going support, including monthly home visits and the availability of agency staff to guide and assist providers with any issues that might arise.

What are the Hiring Requirements?
- An Extra, private bedroom in your home
- A Safe Home Inspection
- High School Diploma or GED
- Auto/Home/Renters Insurance
- Valid driver's license & 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks.
