Life Connections Specialized Support Services, Inc is a behavioral health care provider with residential programs all across Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and soon Arkansas! We primarily serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex behavioral health and/or medical needs.
Life Connections is currently looking for a Shared Living Home Care Provider in CENTRAL ARKANSAS. Being a Shared Living Home Care Provider involves getting paid for having an adult with a developmental disability live with YOU in YOUR home, condo or apartment!
Position. Shared Living Provider
Locations: Central Arkansas, including Fort Smith, Little Rock, Conway, Benton, Pine Bluff, Searcy, Hot Springs and the surrounding cities & towns.
Annual Stipend: $35-50K/Year TAX FREE plus Room and Board Stipend.
What’s involved? As a Shared Living Home Care Provider, you will provide a safe and comfortable home for an adult with a developmental disability to live their best life, support them with tasks such as but not limited to, meal preparation, medication administration, transportation to and from medical appointments, socialization, participation in the community and other daily living tasks and activities.
Can I Still Have a Day Job?
Yes, and many people do as most individuals we serve receive staffed day support out in the community with outside staff (Monday through Friday).
What if I Need a Break?
Home Care Providers will have access to respite support, so you can go still to that wedding… take a weekend off or just go visit your family, with adequate notice when possible.
Do I Get Training & Support?
Life Connections provides extensive training and on-going support, including monthly home visits and the availability of agency staff to guide and assist providers with any issues that might arise.
What are the Hiring Requirements?
- An Extra, private bedroom in your home
- A Safe Home Inspection
- High School Diploma or GED
- Auto/Home/Renters Insurance
- Valid driver's license & 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks.
