Job Purpose:
- The LifeCare Alliance Operations Dietitian is responsible for both the nutritional oversight and food/supply ordering. This role ensures that all dietary services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, supporting the health and well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Planning and Development: Design and implement nutritionally balanced menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs of our clients, including older adults and individuals with special dietary requirements.
- Food Ordering and Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement of food supplies and manage inventory to ensure the availability of fresh and nutritious ingredients, while minimizing waste.
- Compliance and Food Safety: Ensure all food service operations adhere to health regulations and safety standards, maintaining the highest level of food safety and hygiene.
- Quality Control and Client Satisfaction: Monitor food quality and service delivery, addressing any issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and uphold the organization's reputation.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of food service activities, including inventory levels, menu plans, and compliance documentation, and prepare reports as required.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field required.
Preferred Education:
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential preferred or eligibility for registration.
Required Experience:
- Experience in menu planning and development.
- Experience in food ordering and inventory management.
- Experience ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Experience in quality control and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Experience in record keeping and reporting.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in nutrition program management, food service, or community nutrition.
- Experience in food ordering, inventory management, and working with food suppliers.
- Prior experience working with older adults or individuals with special dietary needs.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Occasional local travel for meetings or site visits.
Salary : $58,000 - $74,000
