POTENTIAL FOR HYBRID REMOTE AFTER TRAINING, CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL
JOB SUMMARY:
- In an effort to secure reimbursement for the Hospital, verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification or authorization for Hospital admissions and outpatient procedures.
- Obtains and verifies insurance information provided by the patient, various Hospital departments and physician offices.
- Obtains referrals, authorization or pre-certification number if necessary to insure reimbursement in a timely fashion and avoid loss of revenue.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School Diploma, GED equivalent or High School certificate.
- Prior insurance verification experience
Range $18.50 to $22, dependent on experience and internal equity.
