Role Overview
We are seeking a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to join our mobile care team. This role is ideal for professionals who value flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient relationships. You’ll provide comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and diagnostic eye exams in non-traditional settings
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases (e.g., glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy)
- Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as needed
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with specialists or primary care providers
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Travel locally to patient locations with provided equipment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Medicine (MD/DO) with specialization in Ophthalmology
- Active New Jersey license to practice
- Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in mobile settings
- Reliable transportation
Schedule & Compensation
