Customer Services
Central Ohio Technical College is seeking a customer-focused professional to serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current students. This position assists students in person, by phone, and via email with admissions, registration, testing, advising, financial aid, and other enrollment-related services.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, assessing needs, resolving issues, scheduling appointments, connecting students with campus resources, and supporting daily Gateway operations.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience), one year of customer service experience, strong technology and communication skills, demonstrated problem-solving abilities, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, experience in higher education or other service-oriented environments, familiarity with CRM or student information systems, experience supporting non-traditional, first-generation, or high school students, and bilingual or multilingual skills.
