LST Secretary Multiple positions

LST Secretary - Multiple openings  -  10 month position 

Overview: The LST Secretary ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the Learning Support Team.

Reports to:  Team Leader

Employee Status: Educational Support Professional - LST Secretary

ESP Bargaining Union

Calendar: Ten-Month Employee, 7:30am - 4:00pm

Qualifications: Education and experience equivalent to high school graduation

Professional/Personal Characteristics:

• Previous experience in an educational setting preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently under varying deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
• Proficient with Google G-Suite, office and phone equipment

Job Responsibilities:

• Frontline communication for parents and students 
• Record and implement incoming attendance calls 
• Monitor truancy throughout the day 
• Participate in weekly MTSS meetings with Team Leader, Counselors & Social Workers 
• Clerical and communication support for counselors, social worker and team director 
• Assist other educational support personnel with various projects
• Support all tasks as assigned by supervisor
