Quality Assurance Support Manager - School Age Care
Purpose Statement
The job of Quality Assurance Support Manager - School Age Care is done for the purpose/s of assisting in ensuring that the Liberty Public Schools School Age Care Program provides consistent and a high-quality program at all locations across the District. The Quality Assurance Support Manager conducts routine quality inspections, provides training, and mentors new and current staff members on procedures in alignment with established guidelines.

Pay
$22.53 - $28.28per hour (based on relevant work experience)
Essential Functions
Analyzes, monitors, and evaluates the school-age care program for the purpose of ensuring set standards are attained.
Assists with the development and implementation of training programs and strategies for school-age care associates for the purpose of maintaining quality and consistent care.
Assists with personnel functions (e.g. selection, assignment, orientation, evaluating, reporting concerns to the Director of School Age Care, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining adequate staffing, enhancing productivity of personnel and achieving objectives within budget.
Conducts regular site visits to assess risk, compliance, curriculum delivery, and adherence to established procedures for the purpose of ensuring a consistent and high-quality school-age care program.
Educates School Age Care staff members on policies, documentation, processes and compliance requirements for the purpose of remaining compliant and consistent.
Interacts with staff, students, faculty, and families for the purpose of communicating information and acquiring knowledge.
Oversees and supports the operation of non-school day School Age Care programs, as needed, (e.g. inclement weather days, spring break and summer camps, and other non-school days, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring a consistent and high-quality school-age care program.
Participates in meetings, workshops and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
Prepares a variety of reports, documents, and correspondence for the purpose of providing documentation and information to others.
Provides individualized and group training for the purpose of providing support to site managers and other school age care staff, as needed, and ensuring consistent and high-quality school-age care program.
Serves as a mentor and resource for the purpose of addressing questions and concerns from new and current staff members.
Supports the daily operations, delivery, and implementation of new programs, strategies, or procedures for the purpose of meeting established program requirements.
Other Functions
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
SKILLS are required to perform multiple, technical tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: demonstrating basic computer skills and proficiency with pertinent software applications; adhering to safety practices; planning and managing projects; preparing and maintaining accurate records; operating standard office equipment.
KNOWLEDGE is required to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percents, and/or ratios; read technical information, compose a variety of documents, and/or facilitate group discussions; and analyze situations to define issues and draw conclusions. Specific knowledge based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: safety practices and procedures; understanding of the Conscious Discipline principles.

Responsibility
Responsibilities include: working under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods; directing other persons within a small work unit; monitoring budget expenditures. Utilization of some resources from other work units is often required to perform the job's functions. There is a continual opportunity to significantly impact the organization’s services.
Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 30% sitting, 40% walking, 30% standing. The job is performed under temperature extremes and in a generally hazard free environment.
Experience: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired.
Education (Minimum): High school diploma or equivalent.
Education (Preferred): Associate degree or higher
Equivalency: Associate's degree may be substituted by relevant work experience.
