- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; Master’s preferred.
- Experience: 2–20 years of engineering experience, including significant work with avionics sub-systems and FAA certification processes.
- Industry Standards: Working knowledge of ARP 4754, ARP-4761, DO-178, DO-160, DO-254, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461.
- Technical Expertise: Strong foundation in requirements development, systems architecture, verification, and validation.
- Tools: Hands-on experience with IBM Rational DOORS and related test equipment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Additional Skills: Background in systems testing, electrical sub-systems, and networked systems; INCOSE certification is a plus.
