Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer – NYC Metro Area

A well-established consulting engineering firm just outside New York City is seeking a Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer to join its growing MEP team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse mix of commercial, residential, healthcare, institutional, and mixed-use projects while advancing your career with a respected firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Design plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of building projects.
  • Prepare construction documents, specifications, and calculations.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural teams.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with applicable building and fire codes.
  • Support projects from concept through construction administration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering preferred.
  • 3 years of plumbing and/or fire protection design experience.
  • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of NFPA, IPC, and NYC building codes is a plus.
  • PE license or EIT is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
