Mechanical Engineer, PE | MEP Engineering
An established MEP consulting engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, PE to design and coordinate building mechanical systems across a diverse portfolio of projects, including healthcare, commercial, institutional, and other complex building environments.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems, ductwork, hydronic piping, controls, and related mechanical systems.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and engineering evaluations.
- Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects.
- Coordinate designs with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
- Support construction through site visits, submittal reviews, RFIs, and technical guidance.
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a licensed professional.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Microsoft Office, and TRACE or similar load-calculation software.
- Strong technical, communication, and coordination skills.
