Electrical Estimator – Philadelphia Suburbs

Growing electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in the Philadelphia suburbs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the estimating process, working with project teams, and helping win profitable work.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate material and labor estimates
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Prepare competitive bids and proposals
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients
• Track bids and assist with project handoff after award
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3 years of electrical estimating experience
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Experience with estimating software, Excel, and related tools
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
