Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain Haas and Okuma CNC machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring parts meet specified dimensions, tolerances, and finishes.
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height/depth gauges) to verify product quality.
- Understand and edit G-code and M-code programs as needed.
- Upload, download, and manage machine programs using basic computer skills.
- Train operators on loading, machining, unloading, deburring, and troubleshooting processes.
- Record production data, maintain setup sheets, and log serial numbers accurately.
- Identify and implement improvements to fixtures, setups, and processes to enhance efficiency.
- Follow supervisor and management instructions and communicate effectively across teams.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
- 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience (lathe and mill).
- Proficiency with Haas and Okuma machines, tooling, setup, and program editing.
- Other Industrial Machines DMG MORI, Mazak, Makino, Doosan/DN Solutions, FANUC, Mitsubishi, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring and inspection tools.
- Associate degree, technical trade school certification, or equivalent work experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, green card holder, or permanent resident.
- On-site, Monday–Friday.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Hourly rate: $25.00–$35.00 (based on experience).
- Benefits include PTO, 401(k), and medical coverage.
