Construction Materials Testing Technician

Onsite

An established technical services firm is seeking a field-based technician to support construction quality assurance efforts. This role focuses on on-site testing, inspection, and documentation for infrastructure and building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform field testing of soils, asphalt, and concrete in accordance with industry standards
• Collect samples and prepare materials for laboratory evaluation
• Monitor construction activities and document compliance with project requirements
• Record test results, photos, and daily reports using company systems
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to address testing outcomes
• Conduct site evaluations, coring activities, and assist with subsurface investigations
• Maintain testing equipment and adhere to all safety protocols
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and valid driver’s license
• Current ACI certifications related to aggregate and concrete testing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage field documentation independently
