My client is a top notch Building Automation and Energy Management company. They are actively seeking a Building Automation Controls Technician who can troubleshoot, install , and program Building Automation systems. The BMS Technician is the main effort of our business and performs these duties on a daily basis: Fabricating control panels based on specs, plans, and control drawings Installing controllers, panels, VAVs, sensors, control panels, low voltage communication, cat 5 and sensor wires Installing EMT and related items, including work with other trades and project management Understanding system control wiring diagrams Terminating system points Commissioning system components Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with low voltage control circuits, relays, transducers, and sensors Utilizing PCs and software tools including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office 365, Visio, Niagara (N4) Installing and configuring supervisor stations 10. Point configuration, mapping, and programming with an understanding of system sequence of operations 11. Develop and modify system control logic (sequences, schedules, alarms) in line with project requirements 12. Create and update graphical user interfaces (GUIs) that provide user-friendly visualization of system operations 13. Troubleshoot and debug software to resolve programming issues, ensuring reliable system performance 14. Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to integrate custom graphics and sequences 15. Maintain documentation of programming code, configurations, and graphical layouts for future reference Ideal candidates for this role will have:

- Knowledge of HVAC systems and building operations
- Experience with control panel fabrication and automation systems such as Honeywell, Tridium, and Johnson Controls
- Relevant certifications (e.g., BACnet, Niagara N4) are a plus !
